Cuba has established advanced medical evaluation programs for the elderly, incorporating holistic care strategies to address the multifaceted needs of older adults. These programs employ multidimensional, interdisciplinary diagnostic processes to comprehensively assess the medical, psychological, and functional capabilities of seniors. The primary objective is to develop a coordinated and integrated treatment plan that ensures effective management and long-term follow-up care for the elderly population.
These evaluations are designed to provide a thorough understanding of each individual’s health status, considering all aspects of their well-being. By integrating various medical specialties and healthcare professionals, Cuba aims to offer a personalized approach that caters to the unique needs of each older adult. This comprehensive strategy not only enhances the quality of life for seniors but also supports their independence and overall health.
