Spinal surgeries can address a range of issues, from degenerative disc diseases, herniated disc and spinal deformities to traumatic injuries and tumors.

EVALUATION, SURGICAL PROGRAMS AND LABORATORY TESTS:

EVALUATION:

  • Initial evaluation, consultation, clinical history review and compiling of medical records
  • Medical consultation with specialists in orthopaedics specialist
  • Medical consultation with specialists in anaesthesia
  • Medical consultation with rehabilitation specialist

IMAGING:

  • Electrocardiogram investigation
  • Chest X-RAY
  • Vertebral CT scan
  • Lumbar spine simple X-RAY (6)
  • Vertebral spine MRI

SURGICAL:

  • Operating room
  • Anaesthesia (TIVA basic
  • Surgery (simple lumbar discectomy) ;
  • Use of navigator in operating room;
  • Ostesynthesis material
  • Intensive care unit (1 day)
  • Hospital accommodation (8 days)
  • Monitoring and evaluation
  • Medical report, conclusions and recommendations

LABORATORY TESTS AND RESEARCH

  • Clinical laboratory research tests and analysis of the following:

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

  • The above program (spine surgery) does not include medications for certain conditions such as depression, blood coagulation, etc.
  • Medicaments, fluids, blood and derivatives to be used, as well as additional procedure(s) performed not included in the exact treatment would be invoiced separately on upon the conclusion of said treatment / procedure(s)

Spine surgery may become a necessary option when conservative treatment such as medications and physical therapy fails to reduce or to diminish symptoms.

  • Internet service on every floor
  • Laundry services

ADDITIONAL SERVICES INCLUDED IN THE PROGRAM:

  • Assistance in visa issuance and extension (If needs be)
  • Each patient/ companion will be assigned a multi-lingual field member with the mandate of attending to all of our patients’ translation and personal needs;
  • 20 hours internet service;
  • Local airport pickup and drop off; and
  • Hospital pickup and drop off (if needed)
